THE GFL WILL BE OPERATING UNDER PHASE THREE PROTOCOLS EFFECTIVE AUGUST 17
The GFL’s medical advisory team, Northside Gwinnett Sports Medicine, has developed a three phase plan that outlines and details the requirements that will allow the GFL to resume early conditioning, pre-season practices and game competition. This three phase plan mirrors the plan being used by the GHSA. We are currently transitioning to Phase Three “Return to Contest”. These phases and protocols are undergoing constant review and updates to address the everchanging modifications being made by the governing authorities There are a number of things we MUST do to allow us to resume workouts, practices, and play games. The complete details outlining the steps the GFL is taking to address Covid19 can be found on the "parents tab" - "covid19 page". We encourage all to review the documents posted. This is the third step of many that will be required to allow the GFL to resume workouts, practices and ultimately PLAY FOOTBALL!! The GFL is committed to the Health & Safety of all our GFL Family!!
The GFL is asking for your help. Due to ongoing concerns regarding Covid19, we are implementing enhanced safety and screening measures to reduce the likelihood of a possible exposure to our players, cheerleaders, coaches, parents, and volunteers. WE NEED YOUR HELP!! If you, your child, or a member of your household is ill, please stay home until you can determine the nature/cause of the illness. If you, your child, or a member of your household have been told they have (or may have) been exposed to an individual that has tested positive for Covid19, please stay home until a risk determination can be made by the medical advisor for the GFL. If you, your child, or a member of your household are waiting the results from a test, please stay home until a risk determination can be made by the medical advisor for the GFL. The GFL is working hard to ensure the safety and welfare of our entire GFL Family. Please help us with these simple steps for the safety of everyone. Your help and cooperation is greatly appreciated and can help to ensure our players and cheerleaders can practice, prepare, and compete uninterrupted throughout the season. OUR NUMBER ONE PRIORITY REMAINS THE SAFETY OF OUR ENTIRE GFL FAMILY!!

A Baseline Concussion (ImPACT Test) is required for ALL Football Players 11 Year Old / 12 Year Old / 8th Grade and recommended for all Cheerleaders 6th Grade / 7th Grade / 8th Grade. Contact your association for your "Customer Code". Click on the link below to complete the online test. Print your test conformation. Test are free to GFL Players & Cheerleaders

We are a recreational youth age-based football and grade-based cheerleading program serving residents of Northeast Metro Atlanta including Gwinnett County and the surrounding areas.
Each year the GFL plays over 1,000 regular season games and typically fields over 200 football and cheerleading squads!
